Thanks to deltamethrin, Scalibor® will have a persistent repellent (anti-feeding) effect for 12 months against sandflies and 6 months against mosquitoes (Culex pipiens) 1. In addition, deltamethrin will allow the collar to kill ticks ( Ixodes ricinus Rhipicephalus sanguineus) persistently for 6 months.
